很多朋友说到Cruachan总会提及他们的经典翻唱《Ride On》，那效果不亚于老爹VS《有多少爱可以重来》，呵呵，不多废话，今天就来听听他们04年专辑《Pagan》中的一首《Michael Collins》。
歌曲讲述的正是爱尔兰革命领袖、北爱自由运动的领导者Michael Collins，他既是一个狂热的战争发起者，又是一个不顾一切的和平追求者，他的生命源自对爱尔兰的热爱，却也结束在他所热爱的人民手中（在一次谈判途中，Michael Collins回到家乡，被当地的一个激进青年枪杀）。
整首歌激昂中不失优美，磅薄中又带着悲情。一阵富有节奏感的短促鼓点后，悠扬的风笛交织而起，吉它声加入些许时间后，鼓点即变得强劲有力，两者间的迅猛碰撞与高亢嘹亮的女声合在一起，力量感十足。如此反复一遍后---到了2分50秒，音乐渐渐变小又忽然急剧加速，随之而来的是男声黑嗓愤怒的吼叫。。。最后一段依然交由了女声演绎，歌在一句耐人寻味的“He gave his best, what more could he do?”嘎然而止。。。留给听众的不仅是悲壮，更是深思。 01.
