Winter Days
  I can not hear anything in my ears,
  For what I hear is wind.   
  For it jabs my hat,
  For it pokes my skin.

           I can not see anything in my eyes ,
  For what I see is snow .
  For it pierces my pores ,
  For it nips my bones.

  I can not feel anything in my hands ,
  For what touch is ice.
  For it stabs my nerves ,
  For it stops my blood.
