Iraq's President Jalal Talabani says nearly 11-hundred people were killed in Baghdad in April in sectarian violence.
Talabani said in statement Wednesday that morgues reported one thousand and ninety-one people were killed in the capital alone between April 1st and 30th. The statement said the leadership feels \"shock, dismay and anger\" over the daily reports of unidentified bodies being discovered in and around Baghdad.
Earlier Wednesday, Iraqi police said insurgents ambushed and killed 11 passengers and wounded three others near Baquba, north of the capital.
