For passing... ?
Hi,Is the following sentence correct?
__For passing__ the rigorous swimming test, he had to get up early in
the morning and make his body condition as good as he could.
------
It's from a test, and the answer key is (a)-> \"For passing\" is wrong.
However, I can't seem to find anything wrong with it... In my opinion
because "had to" limites the tense of whole sentense, so it is better to use "For pass"
