What time?

“What time do you work out every morning?” is a common sentence.

However, someone asks me a question:
Why should “What time” not be changed into “At what time”?

I don't think we can say like "at what time". If never we need to precise the time, I think maybe we should say "at which o'clock",if it is right.............................

For example,
-----What time do you get up in the morning?
-----I get up at 6.00 a.m.

Why is it that the answer "at 6.00 a.m." is "at what time", yet the question is "what time"?

Here,

In which lecture hall did you have the lecture?

I give up answer your question in English.

I arrived on Thursday morning.

At exactly what time?
