跟别人约好，结果你没有赴约，也就是说你“对某人失约”，它的英文就是“stand sb. up”。如果你失约了，当你要跟对方说你不是故意失约的时候，你是在说一件过去的事情，所以要说I didn't mean to stand you up. 注意句中要用过去式。
