sorry for 后面加人指替某某人感到可惜ex. I'm sorry for the family.
1. 请问后面是否可接因为做了什么事情而感到抱歉呢？
ex. Sorry for causing your inconvenience.
2. 下面的用法OK吗？
Sorry for being unable to help you.
Sorry for being not of help.
如果OK, being可以省略吗？
或者用下列比较OK？
I'm sorry that I can't help you. I'm sorry, but I can't help you
sorry for 后面名词居多，动名词相对用得少点。
Sorry for causing your inconvenience.
一般直接用Sorry for any inconvenience.或许比较好 找了一点资料，希望对楼主有所帮助：
"I am sorry”后面往往接"but";例如:I'm sorry, but I have an engagement for Sunday afternoon.”和“I·am sorry, but the matter quite slipped my memory."·
还有以下说法：
I am sorry that I have not answered your letter.
Excuse me for not having answered your letter·
