现在的流行乐坛的女歌手越来越多的偏向年轻化，小是小，可是很多都相当有才华，可是总觉得有点奇怪，因为她们总有一份和她们年龄，外表，声音不相称的老成，不知道是件很恐怖的事情，所以还是很难想象象Joss Stone现在17岁就能在取得那么大的成就[想想自己的17岁？]，不但在英国著名成人杂志《FHM》最近评选出全球最性感女星，艳压群芳，名列前20位性感宝贝。音乐上当然不用说，被称为英国灵歌小天后的她，在14岁的时候就被Glamour的制作人Steve Greenberg预见是一颗新星，2003年发行第一张专辑The Soul Sessions就能在全球卖出三百万唱片的成绩，第二张专辑Mind, Body Soul更是获得相当高的评价，3月20号Joss发行了她的第三张专辑Introducing Joss Stone，这张专辑加入了现在流行的Hip-Hop，可能多少为了市场的考虑，可是个人不是很喜欢，不是说Joss的音乐演绎不好，是个人从心态上觉得有点难接受，因为Joss的声音本来就是那种不需要打磨处理的，她的爆发力和控制力是超越那种在录音棚里需要加工处理的境界的，原始、健康和张抑有力才是Joss最好和最感染的方向。不过还好除了在开头的change是这种俗套外，大部分还是Joss带给我们一向的Blues节奏，那种始终让人觉得熟悉而不觉得落伍的感觉，任何将传统音乐化腐朽为神奇的出色唱功三年后还是那样另人惊奇，声线运用当然是无可挑剔，音色的柔美度、磁场力方面，则有了更进一步的表现。我比较喜欢tTell Me `Bout It 和Put Your Hands On Me。相信喜欢Joss的粉丝，是会喜欢三年锤炼带来这张结合复古灵魂乐的温暖、70年代节奏蓝调精髓以及摩城女子美声团体风韵的全新作里的全部的歌曲，也会让每个人感受到Joss那丝丝入扣的声音。
